We are happy to welcome Dela from Finland this winter who will be teaching Barre workout classes in English, Monday and Friday evenings and at Somapa in Eyragues.
Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body and improving your range of motion and flexibility. Barre classes involve performing small, precises, repeated movements, using your body weight and holding your body in certain positions to really challenge smaller muscles in the body.
Dela’s barre classes will be offered as part of the Yoga Saint-Rémy program, allowing members to discover this technique using your class passes. Drop-in classes are 20€.
Dela is a former ballet dancer and graduate of the National Ballet School of Finland, who traded in her career as a dancer to focus on teaching dance and fitness (and practice yoga). She will be in Provence all winter and is also available for personal training sessions, to book please contact her directly.
